Fashion Questionnaire: Bryony Robertson

British model Bryony Robertson (23) started her career about a year ago when she was scouted in Brighton, and she modelled for many fashion labels such as T-shirt Policy, Jesus Peiro, Louise O’Mahony, Stephen Arthur, Harper & Eye, Gemma Goldstone, and magazines like You and Your Wedding, Absolute Magazine and Look Magazine.  She also modelled for a number of TV shows including the celebrated BAFTA-winning reality drama Made in Chelsea.

Bryony is working for The Model Agency and is a member of ModXchange fashion network. She filled in our questionnaire and revealed her fashion and beauty secrets:

How do you describe your style?

My style very much depends on the mood I’m in but I guess I’m a bit of a tomboy at heart – I don’t tend to go anywhere without my leather jacket and a pair of chunky boots, but I’ll often offset it with a piece of statement jewellery to make it a little bit more feminine. I’m a sucker for a bargain and will happily trawl sales and ebay for hours – some of my favourite items have come from ebay.

Best dressed style icon?

I always really admire women who have the guts to take risks with what they wear. Chloe Sevigny and Rooney Mara are both incredibly striking, and aren’t afraid to break the rules when it comes to their outfits.

Whose cupboard do you think is worth raiding?

Alexa Chung always looks effortlessly cool. I’d love to have her wardrobe.

Your best fashion find this season?

I’m desperate to get my hands on a Mongolian fur gilet, they’re so soft and cosy and perfect for layering in autumn.

Your fall/winter beauty essentials?

A decent moisturiser. My skin gets so dry in winter so keeping it nourished is essential. I got given a Glossybox from a catwalk I did recently and my favourite item was the Organic Surge moisturiser. It smells awesome and keeps my skin lovely and soft.

My other beauty essential would be a brow gel. I have quite thick eyebrows so something like Benefit’s Speed Brow is a great way to tame them and give them a little more definition.

What is the most magical beauty product that you discovered recently?

A makeup artist recently recommended La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo to help keep my skin clear. I’d tried loads of products so was fairly sceptical about this but it has made a noticeable difference. It’s lovely and light, smoothes skin and reduces pores. And for something that actually works, it’s also really good value.

Your tip for healthy eating?

I eat pretty much constantly throughout the day. I’d love to say it was all healthy but I’d be lying – I have a massive weak spot for chocolate. I try to eat a lot of protein so I snack on nuts, beans and pulses, which are great for providing energy and are also really good for your skin, hair and nails. Oh, and the tip everyone gives:  drink water – lots of it.

How do you keep fit?

I hate the gym so I tend to try and go for a run at least twice a week. There’s some beautiful scenery round my house so I find it much less of a chore.
