Christopher Bailey’s fall/winter collection for Burberry is a continuation of his pre-fall for women and fall/winter menswear range that we have seen in January. There are a lot of beautiful winter florals printed on scarves and dresses, but also painted on sheepskin. They are paired with colorful carpet totes, painted leather boots and hand bags.
Warm winter scarves are worn in a brand new way: casually thrown around the neck and pinched at the waist with painted belts. There were layers of fabrics with clashing prints and patterns floating around the body and it all looked very relaxed and chic. We have also seen a number of matching menswear outfits, and a series of personalized blankets with initials of models at the end of the show.
With Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, Edie Campbell, Matilda Lowther, Malaika Firth, Charlotte Wiggins and Sam Rollinson walking down the catwalk, it was a truly spectacular show and the front row was packed with celebrities from Anna Wintour to Harry Styles and Bradley Cooper who was there to support his girlfriend Suki Waterhouse.
