Electric Baroque: Jean-Pierre Braganza Fall/Winter 2014

Inspired by painter Artemisia Gentileschi, Jean-Pierre Braganza played with contrast between shadows and light and printed baroque pictures on silk. There was a lot of complex tailoring, draping and patchwork. Feminine dresses were paired with elegant shoes and sandals while cut-out skirts were worn with long suede boots. The collection also features some cool leather jackets and long leather gloves which gives it a strong urban feel. The color palette includes black, navy blue, dark red and metallic shades.
