Marc Jacobs prepared yet another surprise before he left Louis Vuitton. Not only he revamped the cult Noe bag and created a breathtaking ready-to-wear collection, but he also art directed a spectacular campaign featuring his muses Catherine Dneuve, Gisele Bundchen, Sofia Coppola, Fan Bingbing, Caroline de Maigret and Edie Campbell.
Each star is wearing a piece from Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2014 collection which perfectly matches one of the bags. Additionally, bags seem to correspond to personalities of those women; it is not just a mere coincidence that Catherine Deneuve is photographed with the most flamboyant one embellished with feathers, while Sofia Coppola got the most simple and elegant piece from the collection, and Edie Campbell rocked the metal studded bag.
Images were taken by Stephen Meisel who managed to capture the essence of Marc Jacobs’ last collection for Vuitton and made his dark glamour rather colorful.
