Cara Delevingne was definitely one of the most important faces of 2013, wanted on virtually every ad campaign and every catwalk, including the famous Victoria’s Secret annual show. She was on the cover of many top magazines this year including W, Interview, iD, Vogue Australia, Vogue Portugal, Vogue Japan and Vogue Korea, and she is kicking off 2014 with a cover of both Vogue UK and Numero Tokyo. She is the cover girl of Vogue UK for the second time in the period of 10 months, looking more mature and wearing Saint Laurent faux leather trousers, the chiffon blouse and the wool jacket. Pictures were taken by Alasdair McLellan and styled by Kate Phelan.
After she was crowned Model of the Year at British Fashion Awards in 2012, she quickly became one of the most wanted girls for fashion shows and campaigns around the world. 2013 was definitely her lucky year, and it looks like next one will be too, as she already has many contracts, two January covers and a big role in Michael Winterbottom’s forthcoming film.
It seems that she has it all: great looks, fun and witty personality and incredible power of transformation. Brits often call her “the next Kate Moss” and “pure Chelsea posh” because of her great success in modelling and her aristocratic family background. As we are approaching the end of 2013, it is a great opportunity to look back at some of the best Cara Delevingne’s magazine covers:
