Most people are dreaming about having their wedding in spring, but it can be fun in winter too. Long-sleeved dresses, snowflake cakes and wedding flowers made out of Christmas decorations can be very stylish and extremely romantic. You can make a Christmas themed wedding or get inspired by the Snow Queen, but if you want to keep up with trends then think Great Gatsby or Downton Abbey and the flapper style.

Many fall/winter bridal collections were inspired by the roaring 20’s with loose-fitting satin or chiffon dresses with plenty of shiny beads. Jenny Packham, Vera Wang and Alexis Mabille crated wonderful dresses inspired by glitz and glamour of the 1920’s. The best thing about this theme is that you can wear those fantastic hair accessories with feathers and pearls that can  never look tacky. Make sure that you provide jazz music and 20’s cocktails as well, and you will definitely have a fun wedding.

Marchesa wedding dress inspired by Kate Middleton is a great choice for those who would like something more classical, while Giambattista Valli’s mini-maxi gown is both modern and traditional.

When it comes to wedding cakes, lace decoration is a big trend, but you can also stick to the theme and buy a golden cake decorated with flowers and pearls for Great Gatsby theme, or red and white one for a Christmas themed wedding.
